Mark Molnar

Mark’s approach to data management is pragmatic and holistic, based on an extensive background ranging from hands-on technologist to strategic enablement of data management capabilities for the creation of business value. Mark believes that the speed of business and the velocity of change demands a level of pragmatism in addressing data management needs, else events overtake vision. However, excessive pragmatism is directionless. So that pragmatism needs to exist within a holistic vision and understanding of the goals and aspirations of the organization, which Mark enables with our clients by actively listening to their needs and finding the insights necessary to address their challenges and achieve their data management goals successfully.

Mark offers our clients strong leadership, relationship building, and influencing skills, including the ability to work effectively and build trust across all levels of an organization, from technical staff to upper management and leadership, based on openness, transparency, and not being afraid to face difficult situations head-on. 


He is highly adept at “connecting the dots” when it comes to identifying and documenting functional interdependencies and redundancies, conflicting systems and processes, within organizations.  


Mark graduated from St. Edwards University with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. He later received his Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Virginia. 

His experience summary includes:

  • 20+ years of expanding knowledge in data and integration architectures aligned with a variety of application architectures. 

  • 15+ years producing solution design artifacts like functional/technical specifications, process/data flow, logical/physical data models, data dictionaries, testing/QA/acceptance criteria, and others. 

  • 10+ years of growing project management expertise, including planning and estimation, and PMO responsibility for reviewing and writing corrective action recommendations for a global IT services company. 

  • 4+ years working with Agile and Scrum principles and best practices.
